Remote control is supported for the following devices: Standard 220V, Standard 380V, Pro, Master, CRYSTAL station (all types), both new, and those installed over the last 2-3 years. Some of the devices and stations installed at the facility may require replacement of the chip board, in order to exploit all remote control functionality to the full extent. Each CONTACT unit can be connected to a filtration control device (Standard, Pro, Master), a CRYSTAL dosing station, a Rides control unit, or both combined. Therefore, one CONTACT unit is designed for remote control of one pool.

To ensure the operation, the CONTACT unit shall be connected to the DARIN equipment with a twin-core conductor and a stable communication channel shall be established between the CONTACT unit and the Internet (LAN or Wi-Fi).

The remote control system shall be connected via a browser. A personal account shall be created on the DARIN server, where the user’s email to which alerts will be sent shall be specified.

When logging in, the users will get a list of their facilities. One facility is one pool: one set of devices connected to one CONTACT unit. To add a new facility, a new serial number of the CONTACT unit shall be entered.

Each facility can be accessed by a number of users, i. e., an owner, several technicians and guests:

• The owner has access to the highest functionality. So, the owner can manage the rights of other users, i. e., give them or deny their access to the system. The owner can manage all the device settings, view the event history and graphs.
• The technicians have the same rights as the owner, but they cannot manage the rights of other users.
• The guests are able only to view information about the facility, but cannot edit it.

Each user having access to the facility can assign its own name and upload an image. The technicians may have a number of facilities to which they have access.

The owner and technicians can configure the equipment, i. e., add or remove the devices from the facility configuration. To add a device to the facility configuration, an access code (a device number) shall be entered. If a device is not added to the facility configuration, the device cannot be remotely controlled.

In the facility card, the system user will be able to view the current status of the indicators (temperature, pH, Rx, CL, water flow in the measuring cell). An interactive facility equipment diagram is provided in the Water Exchange section, where the facility processes (such as heating, filling-up, filtration, reagent dosing, etc.) are displayed in real time.

The system enables to manage the device settings; the main ones include:

• Set the water temperature and hysteresis;
• Set the filtration and filter backwash sessions;
• Change the required and emergency levels of water quality indicators (pH, CL, Rx); and
• Manage the capacity of the dosing pumps.

In the History section, the user will be able to view the stored information in the form of graphs as well as the history of the facility events.
